Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Description
Join the McCarton Foundation and help transform lives! We’re seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide services to children with autism aged 2-3 years old. You will work alongside Occupational Therapists, ABA Therapists, and a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Direct Care: Provide group treatment to children with autism aged 2-3.
Assessment and Planning: Review physician referrals and children’s medical records, plan and perform treatment programs, and document goals and progress.
Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
Collaboration: Work with related service providers to support each child’s individualized plan.
IFSP Development: Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing learning and development with support from experienced staff.
Requirements
New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Completion of a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Previous experience in autism and early childhood is desired.
Adaptable and eager to learn in a new environment.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, full-time, 12-month position.

We believe in the potential of every child with developmental disabilities and strive to help them reach their full potential. Our McCarton Integrated Model combines speech and language therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
