The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform high‑complexity diagnostic testing that supports accurate, timely patient care in a fast‑paced clinical laboratory setting. Daily responsibilities include receiving and processing specimens; performing routine and specialized analyses in hematology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, immunology, microbiology, and blood bank/transfusion services; operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting automated analyzers; executing and documenting quality control, proficiency testing, and instrument preventive maintenance to meet CLIA/CAP standards; validating and releasing results in the LIS/EHR within target turnaround times; performing reflex and repeat testing, verifying critical values, and escalating per policy; managing reagent inventory and temperature logs; adhering to biosafety and infection control; collaborating with physicians and nurses to resolve test inquiries; supporting phlebotomy and specimen collection when needed; participating in method verification and continuous process improvement to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
