OVERVIEW:
La Garconne offers exciting and challenging paid part-time internship opportunities, which may lead to full-time positions with the company. Internships are offered in the following departments: ecommerce, inventory and receiving and buying.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ecomm Intern
- Assist in ecomm photoshoots, product copy and new product uploads.
- Ongoing monitoring of content live on website to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments with projects i.e., editorials.
- Organize various creative assets for newsletters and other marketing channels.
Inventory & Receiving Intern
- Receiving vendor inventory (i.e., labeling, tagging, etc.).
- Confirming that what is delivered by vendor is consistent with what merchandise was ordered.
- Conducting cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in ensuring stockroom is organized.
Buying Intern
-Assist in the day-to-day operations of the buying department, ranging from competitor analysis to data entry.
-Support the buying team in consolidating, updating and organizing documents related to buying.
-Interfacing with other departments in addressing questions/issues ranging from order deliveries to product information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong interest in fashion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, able to thrive in a fast paced environment, and work well under pressure in meeting pending deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in the department to which you are applying.
- Must be available for a minimum of three months.
- Must be available for a minimum of 2 days a week..
- Learns quickly, has a head for problem solving.
- Must be comfortable working with Macs.
