TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – MICU for travel assignments . This role involves providing critical care nursing to patients with life-threatening medical conditions in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) . The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, ICU experience, and a passion for high-acuity patient care .

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators .
  • Perform continuous assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed .
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals .
  • Respond to emergency situations, including code blues and rapid response calls .
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and post-ICU care .
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a critical care or MICU setting .
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, and ventilator management skills .
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist with patient transfers .
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
