Job Title: Plant Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Plant Administrative Assistant where you will play a crucial role in supporting plant operations. You will manage a variety of administrative tasks that are vital to the smooth functioning of our plant. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with management and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
Responsibilities

Operate the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks.

Process vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently.

Provide comprehensive administrative support for plant management.

Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics accurately.

Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours.

Purchase parts and safety supplies as needed.

Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports.

Handle month-end accruals and reporting tasks.

Process personnel changes and maintain employee files.

Manage timekeeping using Kronos.
Essential Skills
-
Proficient in administrative assistance, payroll, and customer service.

Experience with accounts payable and invoicing.

Familiarity with Kronos and SAP.

Strong office management and data entry skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience processing payroll for a team of 13 people.

Familiarity with Payroll ERP systems, particularly KRONOS, is preferred but not required.

Experience with Accounting ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.

Basic proficiency in Excel.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. You will be part of a tight-knit team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dryden, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
