Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-330pm (12-month position following school calendar)

Position Overview:

We are working with an organization that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their team at their Early Learning Center. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting young children with developmental needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in pediatric occupational therapy, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to excellence in care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans , either independently or in collaboration with other professionals

• Conduct screenings and evaluations to gather essential data for treatment planning, including advanced assessments when needed

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and third-party payer requirements

• Adhere to the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics , Standards of Practice, and Volunteers of America policies

• Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in proper working condition

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) , students, and support staff involved in service delivery

• Participate in ongoing professional development and meet licensure renewal requirements

• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• New York State Occupational Therapy License

• NBCOT Certification

• Pediatric experience or training required
