Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks

• Schedule: 5 days per week | 8 hours per day | 40 hours per week

• Shifts Available: Day & Evening

  • Day: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

  • Mid: 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM

• Department: Adult Operating Room

Compensation Package

• Weekly Gross: $2,313.62

• W2 Rate: $24/hour

• Weekly Stipend: $1,414

Position Overview

A large, hospital is seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) for day and evening shifts in a high-volume Adult Operating Room. This role supports a wide range of surgical specialties in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a broad variety of surgical procedures in the Adult OR.

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instrumentation.

• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure proper handling of instruments and supplies.

• Assist with patient positioning and preparation according to OR protocols.

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.

• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to ensure efficient surgical flow.

• Accurately document procedures and support perioperative workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification

• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years)

• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center or comparable acute-care hospital

• Proven scrub experience required

• Strong case experience including:

  • Trauma

  • Orthopedics

  • General Surgery

  • Neurosurgery

  • Vascular

  • ENT

  • Bariatric

  • GU & GYN

• First-time travelers considered if experienced in similar-size hospitals

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
