Job Title: RN – Pediatrics

Pay Rate:
Local: Up to $2600 Weekly
Traveler: Up to $3300 Weekly

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3 Days/Week | 36 Hours Weekly

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Pediatrics for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative pediatric patients
• Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter insertion, and infection prevention procedures
• Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment and telemetry systems
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams on care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Follow hospital nursing standards, protocols, and patient safety guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in large acute care hospital setting required
• Most recent acute care experience within past 1 year required
• Strong skills in physical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Experience in wound care, infection control, IV therapy, and post-operative care required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Strong patient education and communication skills required

Licensure / Certification:

• Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required

Experience & Preferences:

• Acute care pediatric nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
