Project Manager Level 3

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced technical Project Manager with PMO expertise to provide leadership and oversight for complex projects. The ideal candidate will lead project teams, manage resources, and ensure successful implementation of large-scale technical and operational initiatives.

This role involves managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risks while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee project managers, ensuring alignment with program mission and goals.
• Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources, including risk mitigation.
• Execute the systems development lifecycle, including requirements definition, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and training.
• Manage project teams in a matrix environment and collaborate with senior management for resource allocation.
• Facilitate meetings to clarify business and technical requirements, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
• Oversee vendor implementations, including scope adherence, deliverables review, and progress reporting.
• Provide regular project status reports to leadership and governance bodies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Level III – 7+ years managing complex projects with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• 12+ years as a PMO Project Manager supporting large-scale technical programs.
• Proven experience in data conversion, data modeling, and working with legacy systems and ETL teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience managing program budgets of $100M+.
• 7+ years managing resource-loaded project schedules using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Online, and VBA scripting.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-7 years working with technical teams, data analysts, and integration partners.
• Current PMP or Project Management certification.
• 5+ years’ experience with Agile development and technical projects.

Work Environment & Telecommute Policy:

• Hybrid work environment with minimum 2 days/week onsite.
• Approximately 5% travel.
