Job Title: Part-Time House Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: 15–20 hours per week (flexible schedule between 8 am-5 pm, depending on candidate need)

A busy, welcoming household in Brooklyn is seeking a reliable, proactive Part-Time House Manager to support day-to-day home operations. The home is a family of four with a dog and two young children (ages 2 and 4), so someone comfortable working in a family and pet-friendly environment is key. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining an organized, efficient home and can take initiative with both routine and ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Light Housekeeping and tidying to maintain a well-kept home
• Home organization (closets, storage areas, and overall household systems)
• Family Laundry (wash, fold, and put away)
• Meal prep, including snacks and simple, healthy dinners
• Grocery shopping and household restocking
• Managing household inventory (paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.)
• Package and delivery management
• Running small errands (returns, pickups, miscellaneous household needs)
• Taking out trash, recycling, and compost
• Coordinating and overseeing service providers and maintenance as needed
• Occasional dog walking
• Keeping track of weekly tasks and anticipating household needs

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar house manager, family assistant, or household support role
• Comfortable working in a home with young children and a dog
