Foster Care Clinician/Social Worker

Starting income for Licensed Clinician: $60,000

Starting income for MSW/MHC Limited Permit Clinician: $50,000

Relocation Package available within New York State!
The Foster Care team is seeking a Licensed Clinician/Social Worker to join the team. The Therapeutic Foster Family Program provides foster and pre-adoptive foster homes for abused and neglected children from birth through age 21. this job offer is responsible for ensuring the safety of children in foster care and supporting foster families, and families within the foster care system via a coordinated effort with a team of other professionals. We do offer a flexible schedule and clinical supervision.

What a Foster Care Clinician/Social Worker can expect:

»Provide assessment, treatment planning, and general counseling for children in the program

»Provide individual, group, and family therapy for involved families as needed (sometimes requiring community-located visits)

»Conduct specialized risk assessments

»Attend all case-related meetings

»Participate in formal and informal supervision

»Provide regular case documentation



Your practice and qualification:

»A Master's degree required

»Must be license eligible and have a limited permit in discipline - required

»LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT or LMFT required

»Valid, clean driver's license required

»On-call availcapability is required when families are in need
