Job Title: Project Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: New York, NY 10004

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week (35 paid hours + 1-hour unpaid lunch daily)

Compensation:

• Local Candidates: $30/hr

• Travelers: $35/hr

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Project Specialist to support organizational initiatives by assisting with project coordination, administrative oversight, and maintaining timelines and budgets. This position plays a key role in supporting Payroll operations through training, onboarding, content development, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project management and coordination to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

• Identify project activities or issues that may impact deadlines or financial targets.

• Monitor invoices and billing, and prepare aging reports for the Project Manager.

• Support budget reviews aligned with current and forecasted department needs.

• Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and internal communications.

• Support onboarding processes for new staff within the Payroll function.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Project Management or project coordination.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills .

• Ability to document processes clearly and effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Additional Details:

• Standard 35-hour paid workweek with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
