Service Superintendent
- Manage a multi-discipline team including Supervisor, Technical roles and subcontractors providing efficient coordination and safe execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities and support to operations on offshore and onshore installations
- Ensure safe maintenance execution compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
- Ensure an effective interface with GS (owner), monitor performance (KPI), implement cost effective and efficient Maintenance Plans maximising up-time and ensure appropriate reporting
- Lead the team and ensure that the company policy and Project strategy are cascaded, and targets are achieved
- Create a sound and professional relationship with the GS, team, subcontractors and Production
- Coordinate/lead maintenance operations, planning team and assign daily activity to the supervisors and/or subcontractors
- Insure discipline to the Permit To Work system
- Validate technical reports
- Prepare maintenance reports
- Report on the progress of maintenance operations, performance monitoring (KPI)
- Analyse the activity and, if necessary, propose improvements
- Participate to any co-ordination meetings
- Insure the basics administration tasks, like timekeeping, progress reports approval, review of technical claims, proposals technical review
- Supervise and administrate subcontractors, including progress reports, timekeeping and cost control
- Ensure the operating and maintenance procedures and tools employed by crews are appropriate and, if necessary, suggests improvements
- Ensure coordination between maintenance operations, Planning/Preparation CMMS team, Production, etc.
- Define/keep record of work that can be performed only during inspections or shutdowns
- Promote and propose modifications and improvements
- Suggest corrective measures if the backlog trend increases
- Anticipate potential problems that could occur in the production plant in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations
- Be responsible for teams on site
- Ensure the correct behaviour of teams in accordance with the general safety regulations of the company and, if needed, take the necessary corrective measures
- With the assistance of support functions, organise crew change schedule (admin, logistics, etc.)
- Support the resource scheduling, and staffing, participate to identify the top performers. Lead the Competence Assurance system, including annual appraisals, train the trainer programs, coaching
- Develop continuously team members and identify the training needs
- Check the validity of mandatory individual certifications and qualifications
- Manage Nationalization plan (succession plan) and propose adjustments and improvements
- Ensure that teams have the necessary competencies for safe execution of the assigned work
- Promote understanding of workplace hazards and levels of risk, and encourage awareness in individuals of their valuable contribution to the elimination/mitigation of risk
- Promotes HSE culture via strong safety leadership, ensuring all activities are undertaken with full knowledge of Company commitment to health, safety and the environment
- Ensure all necessary controls to mitigate risks and/or eliminate hazards
- Performance monitoring via regular observation of working practices, assessing compliance with safe systems of work and work instructions
- 12 months contract (subject to extension according to Company needs)
