About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll manage a team responsible for providing advanced management services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This role will focus on infrastructure construction related projects. This is not a remote role and does require availability to work on-site in New York from the client offices a minimum of three days per week.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all facets of infrastructure project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.

  • Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

  • Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to sophisticated requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.

  • May lead project delivery resources/team (typically a larger more expert level team) providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.

  • Implement communication plans for meetings, written reports, and meeting minutes to ensure client and project resources are advised in real-time. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated. Facilitate project meetings.

  • Supervise the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.

  • Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.

  • Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Previous advisory experience as well as technical experience pertaining to building infrastructure and critical systems is required.

  • Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources or management of large programs is required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages. Class "A" Financial or Professional Services Sector experience is helpful.

  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Expert interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • A solid understanding of the commercial real estate industry in the areas of financial analysis, project management, construction, ethical practices, business operations, marketing, and business development.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including after hours and on weekends.

  • Ability to report to client's offices in Manhattan a minimum of three days per week.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $190,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
