Bilingual Teacher

We are pursuing a passionate and practiced Bi-lingual Teacher to join our team. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for teaching and engaging students in a dual-language program in Spanish and English. The Bi-lingual Teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers to create a dynamic and enriching learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
This is a direct hire position paying $50,000-$55,000 per year.

Bilingual Teacher Requirements :

»Bachelor's degree in education or related field.

»Valid teaching certification or licensure in New York.

»Fluent in both English and Spanish and capability to teach in both languages.

»Minimum of 2 years of practice teaching in a bilingual or dual-language program.

» expertise of best practices for teaching language learners and differentiated instruction.

»Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise.

» capability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.

Bilingual Teacher Responsibilities :

»Teach and plan everyday lessons for students in [insert languages], incorporating both languages into the curriculum.

»Engage students in a dual-language program, promoting language acquisition and literacy development in both languages.

»Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress and modify instruction accordingly.

»Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary lessons.

»Provide individualized support and instruction to students as needed.

»Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities.

»Participate in continuing professional development to stay current in best practices for dual-language instruction.
