Are you a customer service professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics industry? Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Logistics Customer Service Specialist in Poughkeepsie, NY.
This is a Monday to Friday position with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. The income range for this job offer is $20 to $25 per hour, commensurate with practice.

Logistics Customer Service Specialist Qualifications required

»Minimum of three years of customer service practice.

»Previous practice in logistics is a plus.

»Strong sense of urgency and capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

»Excellent written and verbal communication expertise.

»Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the capability to quickly lgain new software and systems.

»Friendly and valuable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

»Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.

»Strong problem-solving, time management, organizational, and analytical expertise.

» capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Logistics Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

»Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial and logistics clients on a day-to-day basis.

»Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and covering customer inquiries and concerns promptly and accurately.

»Act as a liaison between assigned clients and the client’s operations department, effectively communicating customer requests and ensuring they are fulfilled with quality and accuracy.

»Coordinate various logistics projects, including office relocations, transportation services, rigging projects, warehousing services, and distribution projects.

»Maintain accurate inventory records for warehousing and distribution-related clients.

»Process rate paperwork and prepare billing documentation.

»Assist with order preparation, file management, and other administrative tasks as needed.

»Support the phone system by answering calls and attending to current and potential customers.

»Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
