As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project documentation, and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects in New York City
• Reviewing blueprints, drawings, and project documents to determine material, labor, and cost requirements
• Collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to align estimates with project goals and timelines
• Using software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and On-Screen Takeoff for estimating and analysis
• Maintaining and updating cost databases to reflect current market pricing and trends
• Participating in pre-bid meetings and project planning discussions to provide cost insights
• Ensuring all estimating work complies with company standards and industry best practices
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong ability to read and interpret commercial construction blueprints
• Experience in commercial interior estimating, preferably in the New York construction market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
