Employer: FIG LLC dba Fortress Job Title: Associate, Business AnalystJob Requisition: 22242.2.6Job Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: Full TimeRate of Pay: $189,592.00 to $195,000.00 per Year Duties: Collaborate with the internal IT department and various business teams in Corporate and Credit to understand and support their technical needs and requirements, leading cross-functional stakeholder meetings to align business objectives with technology initiatives. Lead and manage high-quality software implementation through requirements documentation, testing, and active participation in the software development lifecycle. Manage the transition of firm wide applications, involving comprehensive requirement gathering, Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Requirement Document (FRD) creation, conducting functionality testing, gathering feedback through demos to ensure minimal disruption, resulting in an improved User Interface (UI) experience and high user adoption rates. Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the team lead on firm-wide artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, evaluating and implementing AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and address business challenges. Assess tailored AI products (in-house and vendor), prioritize use cases with diverse business groups, and oversee the entire Proof of Concept (POC) process. Work on automation use cases with generative AI helping the business processes to automate and reduce manual work. Analyze data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Support the development of high-quality software in the form of requirements, documentation and highlevel testing. Manage and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft BI to communicate insights and findings. Test new implementations and provide feedback on issues and areas of improvement. Write easy-to-understand user guides and/or developer guides. Create tutorials and provide training to educate end-users on applications. Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or foreign education equivalent and five (5) years of experience in a business analyst-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: managing software projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including requirements gathering, documentation (BRD/FRD), testing, and deployment; leading end-to-end project delivery across enterprise applications, system migrations, and legacy modernization efforts; working with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives; engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, including C-level executives, government agencies, and global teams, to drive consensus and deliver results; developing user guides, conducting demos with business users, training materials, FAQs, and onboarding content to support user adoption and change management; planning IT strategy, product roadmaps, and transformation initiatives across financial services; and, leading initiatives to optimize business processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance system performance.
