We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Camping Advisor to join our team!

Pay: $45,000-$60,000

Position Summary:
As a Camping Advisor, you play a key role in ensuring our customers begin their camping adventures fully prepared and excited. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive product show-throughs on the customer’s pickup day, promoting essential parts and accessories, following up with customers who did not purchase, and providing top-tier customer care in our store. Your work will not only enhance the immediate customer experience but also build long-term relationships, generating future sales and cultivating loyal, happy campers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Day Experience:

• Conduct detailed, hands-on demonstrations of new units on the day customers pick up their RVs.
• Show customers how to operate and maintain their unit’s features, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable before they leave.

1. Sales of Essential Parts & Accessories:

• Recommend and sell essential camping accessories (e.g., hoses, leveling blocks, awning mats, kitchenware) tailored to each customer’s specific needs and camping style.
• Educate customers on how these products enhance their camping experiences and improve convenience, safety, and comfort.

1. Ongoing Customer Relationship Management:

• Follow up with customers who did not purchase, offering additional information, answering questions, and addressing any hesitations or concerns.
• Maintain long-term relationships with past customers, periodically reaching out to see how they’re enjoying their RV, suggesting new products, and encouraging future visits.

1. In-Store Support & Merchandising:

• When not occupied with unit deliveries or follow-ups, assist in stocking and maintaining shelves of camping gear, ensuring product displays are neat, organized, and fully replenished.
• Greet and assist walk-in customers, helping them locate parts, recommending accessories, and providing expert guidance on product selection.

1. Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Work closely with sales, parts, and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and camping best practices to continually improve your recommendations and deliver greater value to customers.

Qualifications:

• Customer-Focused: Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service, including patience, empathy, and clear communication.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with RV operations, essential camping gear, and accessories preferred. Willingness to learn and stay updated on product lines is a must.
• Sales Skills: Comfortable suggesting products, upselling accessories, and guiding customers toward solutions that best suit their needs.
• Relationship Building: Skilled at following up with potential leads and maintaining relationships over time to encourage repeat business.
• Organization & Multitasking: Able to balance scheduled delivery day demos with on-the-floor customer requests and inventory tasks.
• Team Player: Works well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
