Tacos 1986 is a Tijuana Style Taqueria that makes the most delicious tacos in California. Based in Los Angeles with 8 operating locations across the city, it serves communities with one the most authentic bites in LA.
About The Role:
At Tacos 1986, making our guests feel welcomed is our priority. Good hospitality and excellent ingredients is what keeps our guests coming back.
Cooks at Tacos 1986 will be trained to execute the menu at a fast-paced ticket system while cooking & cutting Grilled Steak, Grilled Chicken and shaving while assembling from the Vertical Spit (Trompo). We take a lot of pride in our ingredients, we respect the way we make our Tacos from the specific region of Tijuana, it is very important for all cooks to understand the flavor we strive to achieve every day.
What You’ll Do:
Grill steak, chicken and marinade, build and shave pork al pastor while assembling tacos topped with onion, cilantro, guacamole and salsa. Participate in training to understand ingredients.
What we are looking for:
- 1 years of BOH experience with the willingness to learn
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to follow recipes
