🚀 Expansion Associate (US)
Location: New York
Start Date: ASAP | Full-Time
About Innovamat
Innovamat is transforming how math is taught in PreK–8 classrooms. We’re the global leader in evidence-based, high-impact math instruction, replacing textbooks with hands-on, dynamic, research-backed learning experiences.
After launching in the U.S. just two years ago, we’ve already partnered with over 60 public school districts - including Chicago Public Schools - with a 100% pilot-to-adoption conversion rate and 0% churn. We've proven product-market fit. Now we’re scaling impact: from 40,000 students today to over 200,000 next year, and far beyond after that.
We’re backed by strong fundamentals, a team of 320+ educators and builders across 9 countries, and a clear mission: make high-quality math instruction accessible to every student.
About the Role
This is a builder’s role. As an Expansion Associate , you’ll be at the center of how we grow across the US. You will lead our entry into new US states, become the first point of contact with school districts, coordinate pilots, and ensure we generate the traction needed to secure large-scale adoption.
You will operate like an entrepreneur: building from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and ensuring flawless execution of our market entry strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and wants to grow into a leadership or strategic operator role over time.
What You’ll Do
Own Market Entry Strategy : Identify high-opportunity districts and regions, gather intel, and help craft our market entry strategies. Analyze what’s working (and what’s not) in how we build a pipeline and engage districts, ruthlessly tracking KPIs and turning learnings into repeatable plays.
Drive Pipeline & Pilots : Build and manage your own outreach motion, generating meetings, finding creative ways to make noise and finding early champions and supporting sales through to conversion.
Lead Cross-Functional Projects : Manage any local initiative such as marketing, events, training, product adaptation, ensuring a smooth deployment of our operations.
Help Us Scale Smart : As we move from founder-led sales to scalable GTM, you’ll help create the processes, data, and systems that power growth.
