Ford Automotive A Level Service Technician Location: 1479 Genesee St, Oneida, NY 13421Pay: $35 – $40 per hour, based on experience and certifications About the Job We are looking for an experienced Automotive A Level Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in line with Ford and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will have Ford certification, a strong technical background, and the ability to deliver efficient and accurate work. A NY State Inspectors License is required for this role. Responsibilities * Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on work orders with efficiency and accuracy * Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning * Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues * Communicate with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs, timelines, and cost estimates * Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer standards * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Stay current with training and manufacturer updates Qualifications * 5+ years of automotive Service Technician experience * Ford certification preferred; ASE certification * NY State Inspector License required * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to use diagnostic equipment * Positive, professional attitude with excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Pay & Benefits Pay: $35 – $40 per hour, based on experienceSchedule: Full-time, flexible work hours Benefits: * Health, dental, and medical insurance * 401(k) plan * Paid time off and vacation * Birthday holiday * Employee vehicle purchase plan * Long-term job security * Growth opportunities with paid training * Free uniforms * Newly updated service bays with advanced equipment, including a Hunter Alignment machine and on-car brake lathe * Top Tech+ membership program About Us At NYE Ford, we are proud to serve drivers in Oneida, NY, and the surrounding community with a commitment to quality, integrity, and customer care.
