Gymnastics / Acrobatics Instructor for Kids (Part-Time)
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Gymnastics and Acrobatics Instructor dedicated to inspiring children through engaging and energetic classes! In this role, you'll lead young learners in developing their gymnastics and acrobatic skills while fostering confidence, coordination, and a love for movement. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics and acrobatics classes tailored to children’s age groups and skill levels.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, balancing, jumping, climbing, and other acrobatic movements.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols and supervising activities closely.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence.
- Communicate progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians regularly.
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the cleanliness of the training area at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- Background in gymnastics, acrobatics, cheerleading, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, climbing, or related disciplines.
- Lifeguard experience is a plus for understanding water safety if applicable.
- Strong behavior management skills to motivate children while ensuring safety and discipline.
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate physical skills confidently and instruct others effectively.

About the Role:
You’ll lead fun, structured, and engaging classes for children ages 5 and up in a supportive, creative environment.
Schedule:
- Weekly classes starting at 4:00 PM
- Weekend morning availability preferred
- Classes are booked in advance
- Additional opportunities available for summer programs
What You’ll Do:
- Teach age-appropriate gymnastics/acrobatics skills
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging class environment
- Adapt activities for different skill levels
- Help kids build strength, coordination, and confidence
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in gymnastics, acrobatics, dance, or similar disciplines
- Experience working with children (5+)
- High energy, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
