This role requires 4 days on site collaboration per week. You must be able to commute to our West 22nd Street office in New York.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing to play a critical, hands-on role at the intersection of marketing, presales, and revenue generation. This is not a purely strategic role - it is an execution-heavy position for someone who enjoys prospect outreach, early-stage conversations, and translating marketing activity directly into qualified sales opportunities.

You will personally drive early demand, qualify inbound interest, conduct introductory demonstrations, and ensure a clean handoff to Sales - while also serving as a senior contributor who coordinates marketing initiatives and strengthens team execution.

Key Responsibilities

Presales Demand Generation

• Proactively identify, research, and engage target prospects through direct outreach, personalized messaging, and campaign follow-up

• Book and manage first meetings with qualified prospects, acting as a trusted first point of contact

• Partner closely with Sales to align outreach priorities and target accounts

Inbound Lead Qualification & Introductory Demos

• Qualify inbound leads to assess fit, urgency, and buying intent

• Conduct introductory product demonstrations tailored to prospect needs and maturity

• Clearly articulate UpClear’s value proposition, differentiation, and use cases for CPG brands

Sales Handoff & Pipeline Support

• Execute clean, well-documented handoffs to Sales representatives

• Ensure prospects are properly positioned for deeper commercial and technical discussions

• Maintain accurate CRM records and feedback loops to improve marketing effectiveness

Marketing Execution & Team Coordination

• Act as a senior, hands-on contributor across marketing initiatives - content, campaigns, events, digital, and sales enablement

• Provide project management and coordination across the marketing team to keep initiatives moving and aligned

• Bring full-stack marketing skills to augment teammates’ work, filling gaps where needed to maintain momentum and quality

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or presales roles (SaaS preferred)

• Proven ability to personally generate meetings and pipeline

• Comfort leading early customer conversations and delivering high-level product demonstrations

• Strong organizational and project management skills with a bias toward execution

• Experience working closely with Sales in a revenue-driven environment

• Clear communicator who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery

• Compensation: $140-160K
