Altair Restaurant is looking for a skilled Pizza Cook / Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position is perfect for someone who is comfortable working a busy pizza station while also contributing on the hot line during dinner service.
We're looking for a dependable cook with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work cleanly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Schedule- Wednesday – Sunday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Full-Time
- Immediate Start
- Prepare and cook artisan pizzas during dinner service
- Stretch dough, build pizzas, and monitor oven quality and timing
- Assist on the hot line as needed during service
- Prepare station mise en place and maintain proper pars
- Cook proteins, pasta, and other menu items as directed
- Follow recipes and plating standards with consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
- Previous experience working a pizza station is required
- Experience on a professional line preferred
- Ability to multitask during high-volume service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow direction and maintain high standards of quality
