Biomedical Engineering

New York University Faculty in the Biomedical Engineering department ( at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a part-time Research Scholar to participate in exciting projects in signal processing, estimation, control and optimization for biomedical engineering applications. Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a B.S. or M.S. degree(s) in electrical, biomedical, mechanical, computer, or aerospace engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related fields. The successful candidate will:

• Be driven, creative and team-oriented.
• Have demonstrated writing and programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or R.
• Have training in statistical signal processing, machine learning
• Be capabile to apply various mathematical algorithms for biomedical engineering applications
• Be able to conduct human subject research including physiological health data collection and subsequent data analysis.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $26.37 per hour for up 20 - 30 hours per week. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific funding source and the terms
