Job DescriptionOur client, a well known beauty brand, is looking for a Global Content Strategist to work on a freelance to full time basis starting as soon as identified.In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Manhattan Tuesday - Thursday.As the Global Content Strategist, you will be defining and leading the brand's content vision - driving cultural relevance, emotive storytelling, and platform-native execution. The Global Content Strategist will be bridging brand strategy and creative execution, ensuring that content is as authentic to social platforms as it is to the brand ethos. The Global Content Strategist oversee global social media, influencer marketing, and content creation, pushing boundaries to deliver scroll-stopping content that builds brand equity and drives business results.The Global Content Strategist will be responsible for: - developing and executing a global content strategy that is aligned with brand and business objectives- drive a social-first mindset within the organization and creating frameworks that enable speed without sacrificing quality- translating brand vision into culturally relevant, platform-native content that resonates globally- partnering with the creative, media, PR, and retail teams to integrate content across earned, owned, and paid channels- ensuring consistency across touchpoints while fostering innovation for each platform- setting the strategic direction for social and influencer teams, focusing on engagement, storytelling, and performance- overseeing end-to-end content production, balancing quality, speed, and budget- building scalable models leveraging in-house talent, agencies, and creator partnerships- leading and mentoring high-performing teams, cultivating an environment of creativity, accountability, and growth- partnering with talent acquisition to build out the content and social teamsREQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years in content strategy, social media, or digital marketing with progressive leadership roles- 5+ years managing large teams and multi-million-dollar budgets- ability to manage 5-10 direct reports- proven success in scaling content strategies for consumer brands (beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or CPG preferred).- deep knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and influencer ecosystems- strong strategic thinking with ability to connect content to brand and business objectives- operational rigor with creative visionable to scale production without compromising quality- cultural foresight and trend fluency; instinct for what resonates before it trends.- proficiency in analytics, measurement tools, and performance optimizationIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
