Hospice Bereavement Coordinator
For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. Requirements: The Hospice Bereavement Coordinator coordinates the Hospice Bereavement activities and provides psychosocial and bereavement support options (counseling or group) to the hospice families and participates in Bereavement Department programs.

Location : Bronx Campus
Salary: $92,228.53 - $99,742.70 annually
Qualifications:
- Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or License Mental Health Counselor required.
- Specialized training in the area of death and dying preferred.
- At least two years of hospice experience preferred.
- New York State Driver’s license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the core values of caring and commitment upheld at Calvary Hospital, as required by specific job responsibilities
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
