We're looking to add a Production assistant to our team to help streamline our manufacturing processes. This role will be directly reporting to Production Manager, it demands high attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and facilitating smooth workflow during daily manufacturing activities. As a Production Assistant, you will support day-to-day operations, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the success of our team and our products.
Job Responsibilities
• Processing "End of Day" transfers and assemblies within the ERP systems and other databases and tracking tools. This includes recording incoming assemblies and transfers from subcontractor as well as internal production assemblies and transfers to sales. This requires remaining in close communication with the assembly and packaging teams as well as troubleshooting with the Finished Goods Warehouse Team as needed to resolve issues/discrepancies.
• Support assembly line Managers, ensuring materials are replenished as needed, and any needs are met.
• Work collaboratively with Line Managers and other team members to meet production targets.
• Compile production documents, reports and schedules, accurately and timely.
• Perform office administrative duties as required by the Production Department, including but not limited to data entry for daily inputs and outputs, internal and external transfers.
• First point of contact for Line Mangers material needs and other missing supplies.
• Assisting the Production Team members in collecting and managing production line data. This includes data related to line headcount, operator timings, output and others.
• General data entry and production assistance as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally 1-2 years in garment manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, previous experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is a plus
