Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product architects, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable, maintainable software solutions
• Design and develop billing applications, APIs, transaction processing systems, and scheduled billing operatioAns
• Enhance existing billing infrastructure and lead migration efforts to .NET Core or other modern tech stacks
• Build robust unit test suites and partner with QA and Data Analytics teams to implement monitoring and validation frameworks for billing performance and revenue assurance
• Architect and develop data pipelines to centralize billing data for analytics, regulatory reporting, and real-time insights

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, design, and development
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and C#
• Experience with at least one additional general-purpose programming language (Python preferred)
• Advanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of relational databases (preferably SQL Server)
• Proven experience with REST API development, authentication, and system integrations
• Solid understanding of transaction management, connection pooling, and concurrency in high-volume systems
• Familiarity with background job processing and batch frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial or billing systems
• Knowledge of rules engines, configuration management, and dynamic business logic
• Exposure to containerized development environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with workflow/ETL orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, Netflix Conductor)
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
• Experience with low-code platforms such as Outsystems
