Duties Description Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Program Management, the Program Coordinator will provide technical assistance and conduct outreach to municipalities across New York State as part of EFC's Community Assistance Teams (CATs) initiative, with a specific focus on cybersecurity. The Program Coordinator will engage with external entities on cybersecurity best practices and water infrastructure programs, represent EFC at events and conferences to promote available funding opportunities, and support data collection related to the CATs program. Essential Duties· Conduct outreach to municipalities to discuss cybersecurity best practices and water infrastructure programs via telephone, email, and other technologies · Travel to events and conferences to promote funding opportunities· Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in meetings by preparing agendas, content, and materials, developing scope documents, tracking timelines, developing status updates, communicating with team members effectively, and conducting follow-up to support initiatives · Collect and analyze data to respond to data requests related to the CATs program · Assist in the administration of various EFC grant programs related to cybersecurity and water infrastructure improvement· Contribute to the development and implementation of program related policies, procedures, and guidance documents· Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness across internal divisions
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience in technical assistance, cybersecurity, community outreach, intergovernmental affairs, project management, and policy development. An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the position may be considered, as determined by the Corporation. Knowledge/Skills · Ability to compile and organize data and information, including developing tools to assist with data collection and analysis· Proficiency with the use of office equipment including computers, copiers, and scanners· Strong organizational, planning, time management and problem-solving skills with attention to detail· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to work with a database· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences in a professional manner· Ability to successfully work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities· Ability to travel, including overnight travel· Experience working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines · Ability to manage filing system, adhere to departmental routines, and oversee information sharing and storage practicesWorking Conditions and Physical AbilitiesWork is typically performed in an office setting and requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment. Travel is required and will require the planning, set-up and breakdown of exhibit equipment.
