Construction superintendent

Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate daily operations and activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflows.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with design specifications and project goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and proactively resolve field issues.
- Review drawings, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Lead project coordination meetings to discuss sequencing, logistics, and resolve any conflicts or delays.
- Track project milestones, material deliveries, and labor productivity to maintain project timelines.
- Assist in developing and managing project schedules and budgets.
- Provide mentorship, direction, and leadership to the field team to ensure high performance and morale.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in construction management, with experience in the Superintendent role.
- Project Background: Experience managing ground-up and building renovation projects with a record of overseeing various aspects of construction.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, codes, and sequencing.
- Leadership: Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced construction environment.
