Legal Operations and AI Automations Associate
About Raisin US
Raisin US, based in New York City, was launched in 2019 to bring the Raisin value proposition to the United States. Our team is composed of passionate individuals striving to break down barriers to savings and investments for our customers and bank partners.
We are a "startup within a startup" - we belong to the Raisin family with operations in Germany and the UK. You should apply if you are looking for a dynamic environment where you can roll up your sleeves, play to your strengths, and access unrivalled development opportunities.
Team
We’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable reviewing contracts as they are prompting ChatGPT - someone who’s excited by the idea that the future of legal work is being written right now!
As Paralegal, working together with General Counsel of Raisin US, you’ll be the trusted human filter for AI-generated legal content, bringing your judgment, precision, and ethical compass to ensure quality and compliance. At the same time, you’ll roll up your sleeves and explore how tools like ChatGPT can take the busywork out of legal processes - automating the repetitive, so you can focus on what matters. If you’re curious, tech-savvy, and passionate about shaping what legal work could be, we’d love to build this future with you.
Your Responsibilities
- Legal Alignment : Ensure AI-generated outputs reflect layered legal reasoning, appropriate escalation logic, and business-aware judgment in the financial services context.
- Review & Calibration : Assess AI outputs- such as contract reviews, triage responses, and legal help desk content- for accuracy, clarity, and contextual relevance.
- Refinement & Feedback : Identify areas for improvement in AI responses and contribute targeted feedback to enhance logic, structure, and prompt quality.
- Pattern Recognition : Spot inconsistencies and edge-case behaviors in AI outputs, supporting continuous refinement of legal workflows and model performance.
- Documentation & Insight : Capture learnings and observations in a structured way to guide system improvements and ensure alignment across teams.
Your Profile
- You have a deep understanding of and genuine interest in AI, ChatGPT, and how these tools can be used to streamline and speed up legal processes.
- You're excited about building smarter systems and workflows, and you're eager to explore how AI can make legal work more efficient.
- You come from a legal background - ideally as a paralegal at a major law firm - and have a clear sense of what “good” looks like.
- You bring structure and judgment to your work, and you're confident in assessing the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs.
- You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You naturally spot areas for improvement, stay up to date on the latest developments, and are always thinking about what more we can do with AI.
We value initiative and motivation - if you're someone who’s driven to build, improve, and push boundaries, you'll fit right in.
