CNC Machine Operating Supervisor

Roma Tile & Marble, a leader in premium stone fabrication and installation, is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operating Supervisor to join our team. This is a working supervisor role ideal for someone with strong CNC machining experience who can lead by example while ensuring production quality, safety, and efficiency.

Position Overview

The CNC Machine Operating Supervisor will oversee daily operations of our stone-cutting CNC equipment while actively working alongside the team. You’ll ensure machines run smoothly, troubleshoot issues, coach operators, and maintain high standards of craftsmanship expected at Roma Tile & Marble.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC stone fabrication machinery (saws, routers, polishers) daily
• Supervise and support polishing team, providing training and guidance
• Manage production workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce company safety policies
• Inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
• Coordinate with shop leadership regarding materials, schedules, and priorities
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machine operating experience (stone fabrication preferred)
• Prior supervisory or lead experience in a shop or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Experience with stone fabrication tools, materials, and processes is a plus
• Reliable, safety-driven, and able to lead a team effectively
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
