About the Role

• The ETS Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement Pega team is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support software quality assurance lifecycle and collaborate with development teams.
• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing software quality assurance lifecycle by working closely with development teams to formulate test strategies and craft both automated and manual tests.
• The team oversees each project from its inception to deployment, offering essential ETS support needed to either improve existing systems, develop or upgrade interfaces, and design, test, and launch new applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile/waterfall process
• Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams
• Design and implement test plans and test cases
• Develop and execute automated/manual UI and functional tests
• Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
• Review and validate UAT test results
• Troubleshoot issues in systems under test

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes
• Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (ADO, JIRA, RCLM)
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright
• Experience with API testing using postman or SoapUI
• Experience with performance testing tools using JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
• Experience with manual testing
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
