Established Queens based firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. This role requires an experienced individual who is skilled in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and be comfortable managing multiple tasks across active and passive entities.
Responsibilities:
• Perform daily cash reconciliations for payments made via various methods, including checks.
• Conduct routine bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist the Controller with month-end closing procedures and reporting tasks.
• Manage daily credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate transaction records.
• Prepare accounting schedules and track employee loans for proper documentation.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably managing multiple entities.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
