Temporary Part Time Male Locker Room Attendant/Porter

The temporary part time Male Locker Room Attendant/Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of the male locker room and related facilities. This role supports a high-volume environment and requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent awareness of guest, member and staff needs. The attendant plays a key role in ensuring a positive and sanitary experience for members, guests, and staff.

Job Functions:


The duties below are the most significant responsibilities of the CEM that are essential for effective performance in this role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all areas of the male and family locker room, including locker areas, showers, restrooms, sauna rooms, and common spaces.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks in accordance with facility standards and health regulations.
• Operate floor care equipment such as extractors, buffers, and other cleaning machines.
• Monitor locker room conditions and promptly address spills, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Restock supplies including towels, toiletries, and sanitation products as needed.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with members, guests, and staff.
• Assist with seasonal outdoor duties, including snow removal using a snow blower and manual shoveling.
• Able to stand for hours and carry tables and furniture. Able to lift 35 -55 pounds.
• Follow all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and company policies.
• Perform additional cleaning or facility-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a commercial environment with a high volume of guests, staff, or members.
• Prior professional cleaning experience required.
• Demonstrated experience using floor care machines, including extractors and buffers.
• Experience operating a snow blower and performing snow shoveling.
• Ability to lift and carry 40–55 pounds safely.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.

Schedule: 16-32 hours per week, weekend and evening availability required.

Compensation: $19.25 per hour.
