Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.

• Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the Supplier Account or the product family.

• Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost. May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.

• Plans and organizes all elements of product manufacturing and distribution related to the acquisition of materials and services.

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.

• Responds to supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization's best interest.

• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.

• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Macola or MRP/ERP experience is preferred.
