Director, Solution Engineering

About the Role
We’re looking for a Director, Solution Engineering Team to join our sales leadership and help shape the future of our growth. In this role, you’ll lead a talented team of Solution Engineers, strengthen our technical pre-sales strategy, and serve as a key partner to our Account Executives, Product, and broader GTM organization. You’ll guide customer engagements, product education efforts, and play an active role in advancing our company’s strategy in the real estate investment domain.
This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who is passionate about developing people, driving business outcomes, and building strong cross-functional partnerships. You’ll be a visible leader both internally and externally mentoring your team, creating scalable frameworks, and representing the company at industry events and executive-level meetings.
What You’ll Do
- Become a domain expert : Build and maintain deep knowledge of the real estate investment space, and confidently communicate its value in customer conversations.
- Be a product champion : Understand our product inside and out, translating its capabilities into meaningful solutions for our customers.
- Lead discovery: Run and guide needs analysis sessions to uncover how we can best support customer goals.
- Lead and grow the team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of Solution Engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support to succeed.
- Collaborate across GTM: Partner daily with AEs and AMs as part of the sales organization to drive success.
- Shape business strategy: Work with sales leadership to design and execute technical strategies that accelerate revenue and deal success.
- Bridge product and sales: Act as the connector between our product and sales teams—equipping your team with new product knowledge and providing valuable market feedback to product leaders.
- Champion enablement: Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for Solution Engineers, AEs, and GTM partners. Develop compelling demo materials and resources that empower the sales organization.

REQUIREMENTS
- Leadership experience : 3-4+ years leading a Solution Engineering team, with 2-3+ years prior experience as a Solution Engineer.
- PropTech familiarity: Experience with PropTech solution vendors is a plus.
- Enterprise expertise: Strong track record working with enterprise customers and navigating complex sales processes.
- People leadership: Ability to guide, mentor, and inspire others while also contributing individually.
- Executive presence: Skilled at presenting and engaging with C-level executives and industry decision-makers.
- Strategic mindset: Understanding of business processes, with the ability to align technical strategies to business outcomes.
- Hands-on approach: Comfortable developing pipeline opportunities and engaging with stakeholders across accounts.
- Collaborative and driven: Self-motivated, curious, and energized by working with people to solve complex challenges.
- Communication: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Travel readiness: Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.
- Domain tools knowledge: Familiarity with platforms such as Juniper, Appfolio, InvestNext, Yardi, etc., is an advantage.

Compensation:
$225,000–$250,000 OTE, with a 80/20 split (Base Salary: $180,000–$220,000). Base salary ranges are determined by multiple factors unique to each candidate, including skills and local market benchmarks. We encourage you to apply if your expectations are outside this range.
