Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $22 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Railroad Maintenance Mechanic:

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial and production machinery and equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance

• Rebuild and maintain electronics

• Read mechanical prints and electrical diagrams

• Electrical tasks- troubleshoot and replace- AC & DC drives, temperature controls, Start/Stop electrical controls, PLC's, and electrical circuits. Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Ability to use basic power tools, very labor intensive

• Working outside assisting with railroad infrastructures

• Hours will vary, anywhere from 8-12 hours per day

• Must have reliable transportation

• Eligible drivers license & personal vehicle

• Able to stoop, bend, and crouch, and to lift up to 50 pounds
