Locations:

Albany Office - 7 Southwoods Blvd, Suite 1, Albany, NY 12211
Latham Office - 11 Century Hill Drive, Suite 200, Latham, NY 12110

Schedule: 4 days in Albany, 1 day in Latham | Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-2pm

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Prepare surgical rooms, instruments, and patient charts in advance of proceduresAssist chairside during oral surgery procedures including sedation, extractions, and implant placementsMonitor and update patient vitals, comfort, and post-op recovery instructionsSterilize and maintain instruments following strict surgical protocolsCoordinate inventory of surgical supplies and track implant materialsSupport the surgeon and anesthesia team with setup and procedural assistanceProvide detailed pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and caregiversMaintain electronic records, chart treatment notes, and assist with digital imaging as needed

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assistant program (preferred)Oral Surgery Assistant Certification (preferred)DANB, ICE, RHS certifications (state-dependent)Valid CPR/BLS certificationMinimum of 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience (required | oral surgery preferred)Excellent communication skills and calm presence in surgical environmentsA team-oriented mindset with high attention to detail
