Duration: 14-Week Contract

Pay Rate: $30 – $32.50/hour

Shift Options:

• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

• 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital pharmacy team. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in the preparation, distribution, and inventory management of medications. This role requires strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and institutional policies, with flexibility to rotate assignments, satellites, tours, and shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing under direct supervision

• Accurately receive, return, deliver, and restock medications, medication carts, and pharmacy supplies

• Maintain and monitor drug inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Rotate between pharmacy satellites, assignments, and shifts as required

• Operate pharmacy and automated dispensing equipment and troubleshoot systems as needed

• Ensure work is completed with high attention to detail and within designated timeframes

• Comply with all regulatory, safety, and documentation standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, and IV room operations

Education & Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license issued by NYSED

• Primary source verification of license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)
