Duties Description - Conduct analysis, review and research of construction contracts, project plans, change orders and bidding documents.- Maintain and update an internal database containing historical project bidding data for MTA construction projects. - Analyze data and information relating to construction projects, and construction related investigative and audit matters. - Draft memoranda and other documents summarizing analysis and findings as necessary.- Conduct research, analyze data, draw conclusions, communicate findings verbally and in writing.- Attend meetings with the Construction Monitoring Unit personnel and other members of the OIG staff.- Perform site visits with OIG staff.

Minimum Qualifications Educational Requirements- Must be a full-time student pursuing a degree from an accredited institution in engineering, construction management, public administration, public policy, urban planning or other related vocational coursework.Position Requirements- Strong computer skills with the ability to operate in a Microsoft Office 365 environment. Knowledge of MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel required.- Interest in the transportation, construction or engineering fields. - Attention to detail, self-initiative, and a team-oriented approach.- Strong written and oral communication skills.
