As a Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 , you will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other building systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies.
This position focuses on routine and preventive maintenance tasks and does not include supervisory responsibilities. You’ll work closely with supervisors and the Work Control team to complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently, helping to keep facilities safe, functional, and in top condition. Key Responsibilities- Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Execution: Carry out tasks assigned by supervisors or Work Control, documenting and finalizing work requests as needed.
- Work Orders: Respond to, complete, and close work order requests in the CMMS system, ensuring accurate time and task reporting for tracking and billing.
- Safety: Follow all C&W Services safety policies and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- General knowledge of tools, building maintenance procedures, and industrial facility equipment.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong written and mathematical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role.
- Experience or knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Experience or knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to move between departments and facilities throughout the workday.
- Regularly required to type and document work in a computerized maintenance system.
- Work may be performed in a warehouse or industrial setting with fluctuating temperatures.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
