POSITION OVERVIEW

Position Summary
Northern Rivers Family of Services is seeking candidates to join our HR team. As an Onboarding adjunct, your responsibilities will include communicating organization and position details to new hires before their start date, gathering necessary paperwork and scheduling first days. If you have an HR background, basic expertise of labor legislation and a flair for interacting with people, we'd like to meet you!

Essential tasks and Responsibilities

»
Work collaboratively with recruiters to identify candidates to be on boarded.

»
Responsible for assisting new hires with their paperwork and pre-employment background checks, with a focus on a positive customer service practice for candidates.

»
Serve as a direct contact for new employees to welcome them to the organization.

»
Provides technical assistance to new hires as they go through a complex background check process. Point of contact to provide communication to hiring manager, and HR.

»
Ensure compliance with Agency policies, and State and Federal law.

»
Maintains onboarding systems for audits

Education and practice

»
Minimum of High School Diploma with 4 years of practice or; Associates degree with 2 years practice

»
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication expertise are required

»
Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy

»
Must be a self-starter and possess the capability to work independently

»
capability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow

»
Dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with staff in a team-oriented environment

»
capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize among competing needs and respond quickly to requests for information

Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data
