Hours: 37.5 hours/week, 7.5 hours/day (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM)

Job Description:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist I to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management. This role ensures the accurate entry and verification of data into electronic systems, supporting smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read source documents and accurately enter data into designated fields
• Collect, compile, sort, and verify data for completeness and accuracy
• Identify and correct data entry errors or escalate to supervisors as needed
• Scan or upload documents into electronic systems
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work
• File completed documents appropriately or distribute as required
• Perform routine office tasks such as answering phones and managing supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–1 year of data entry experience; healthcare experience preferred
• Must type at least 45 WPM
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical records preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
