Job Title: Plant Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in supporting plant operations through various administrative functions. This role involves managing diverse tasks ranging from payroll and inventory tracking to providing administrative support to plant management.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks.
• Process vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support for plant management.
• Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics accurately.
• Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours.
• Purchase necessary parts and safety supplies.
• Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports.
• Assist with month-end accruals and reporting.
• Process personnel changes and maintain employee files.
• Manage timekeeping using the Kronos system.

Essential Skills

• Strong administrative assistance and support skills.
• Proficiency in payroll processing and accounts payable.
• Excellent customer service and office management capabilities.
• Proficient in data entry, with experience using Kronos and Oracle.
• Experience in invoicing and administrative tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with payroll processes, especially for a team of 13 people.
• Familiarity with Payroll ERP systems like Kronos is preferred.
• Experience with Accounting ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.
• Basic proficiency in Excel.

Work Environment

This role is fully onsite from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 6 AM to 2 PM. You will be part of a tight-knit team that values collaboration and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a position based out of Saint Johnsville, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
