Role specifics: You will provide continuous assessment and stabilization for PCU patients, monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications per protocols, anticipate and respond to acute changes, and collaborate with physicians, case managers, pharmacists, and rehabilitation teams. You’ll implement, audit, and refine care plans, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families about discharge planning, medications, red flags, and expected outcomes. You’ll participate in rounds, contribute to rapid response and code readiness, and uphold best practices in infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety.
