Inventory Clerk

We are pursuing a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Clerk to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As an Inventory Clerk, you will work closely with production to ensure proper and efficient material flow, including the use of ERP system to issue material.

Inventory Clerk General Requirements:

»Must be able to lift 30lbs unassisted

» capability to stand for long periods of time

»Strong communication expertise, both written and oral

» capability to read, write, and speak English fluently

»Excellent attention to detail and organizational expertise

» capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

»Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

»Prior practice in inventory management preferred, but not required



Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:

»Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP system

»Coordinate with production to ensure that materials are issued in a timely and efficient manner

»Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks

»Ensure that inventory is stored in the appropriate locations

»Communicate any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management

»Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
This is a full-time position with hours of Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The position is temporary to hire, with the possibility of becoming a permanent function for the right candidate and the pay is $18 per hour.
