Hourly : $24.00- $30.72 USD

Absolut Care of Aurora Park is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in East Aurora, NY. Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our residents

• Conduct daily assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote resident independence, mobility, and overall well-being

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to ensure seamless care coordination

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current OT Assistant certification in the State of New York

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed
